Overview

Padel Bandeja ("the app") is a padel score tracker for Apple Watch and iPhone. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data we do not collect

We never ask for an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location. There are no advertising SDKs in the app, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Analytics and crash reporting

To understand how the app is used and to fix problems, the app uses two Google services, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect:

Usage data — which screens are opened, when a match is started, recorded or left unfinished, and how a match ended (win, loss or draw). Match scores and partner names are not included.
Device and app data — device model, operating system version, app version, language, and whether an Apple Watch is paired and has the app installed.
Approximate location — country or region, derived from your IP address. We never collect precise location.
Crash diagnostics — if the app crashes, a technical report with the stack trace and device state at the time.
An app instance identifier — a random ID generated by Firebase for this installation. It is not linked to your name or your Apple ID, and it is reset if you reinstall the app.

This data is processed by Google on our behalf and is governed by Firebase's privacy documentation. We use it only in aggregate, to see which features are used and what is broken. We do not use it to identify you or to build an advertising profile.

Under the GDPR, our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the app. If you would like your analytics data deleted, email us at the address below and we will remove the data associated with your installation.

Data stored on your device and iCloud

The app stores the following data locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your private iCloud account:

Match history (scores, duration, date, and result)
Partner names you choose to enter
App preferences (deuce mode, who serves first, wrist setting)

This data is stored exclusively in your private iCloud account (CloudKit private database) and is never accessible to us or any third party. Only you can access it, from your own Apple ID-linked devices.

Apple frameworks

The app uses the following Apple-provided frameworks that may interact with Apple's infrastructure:

CloudKit — to sync your match history privately across your devices via your iCloud account.
WatchConnectivity — to transfer match data between your Apple Watch and iPhone over your local device connection.

Apple's use of data through these frameworks is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The analytics described above are not used to identify individual users of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
